HSTE to ISTE Contest

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN ATTENDING ISTE2023 IN PHILADELPHIA, PA?

The HSTE to ISTE contest was created to provide an opportunity to help send one of our members to attend the ISTE Conference. We are proud to announce that this year's contest is now open!

This year’s theme will focus on “Connecting Through HSTE” and how HSTE inspires innovation in teaching. Tell us how HSTE inspired your collaboration, creativity, and leadership as an educator.

Submit entries by MONDAY, MARCH 27th, 2023

Contest Details:

You must be a member of HSTE and currently living in Hawaii to participate. Not a member? Join now at www.hste.org/join
An image of bit.ly/hstelogo & reference to www.hste.org must be present in video.
Video must be between 30 - 90 seconds. No longer than 90 seconds and may include students.
Winner will be determined through board votes & public likes.

Contest Rules:

Only 1 submission per member.
Must be able to provide publication release forms for anyone appearing in the video.
Must upload your video to YouTube, set it as "public".
Your video will be posted on HSTE Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
The winner will be determined by HSTE board member voting and number of social media likes.

Contest Prize:

An ISTE2023 registration (this does not include membership)
A $500 travel stipend for ISTE2023
Recognition on our HSTE website and social media

HSTE inspires educators to use technology to innovate teaching and learning, encourage best practices, and solve tough education problems. Through shared knowledge and a supportive community, we strive to empower learners and create equitable technology access.

If you are interested in becoming a member of HSTE, please fill out the member application. There is no charge to join at this time and you will be helping to create an important new organization to support the use of technology in our learning environments.
