2018 HSTE President Farewell
It has been an honor serving as your HSTE Board President for the past year. Through my participation in HSTE, first as a member and then through my participation in the board I have been able to grow so much as an educator. This is due to all of the amazing members that we have and the conversations that you have been willing to share with me. From meeting with the great group of HSTE members on Kauai to talking with a much larger group at the Schools of the Future Conference, you all continue to inspire me. We have an amazing group of educators in Hawaii that are passionate about moving our students forward and looking at ways in which we can use technology to do this. One of the most amazing things about this group and our educators in Hawaii is the way that public, private and charter schools are able to come together. To me this is one of the most important things that HSTE does. We are all here to educate the children of Hawaii and through our partnerships we can all move forward. The world is changing so fast and you are the people that are working to make sure that our students are prepared for this new and unkown future. Thank you so much for allowing me to serve as your board president and I look forward to continuing to work with you in any capacity possible. Thank you so much for all of your support and I am excited to see where Shane Asselestine is able to take this organization with your continued support.
Aloha and Mahalo,
