Hawaii Council of Teachers of Mathematics (HCTM)

HCTM's purpose is to provide teachers with opportunities for the exchange of ideas and materials regarding instruction in mathematics.

Hawaii Science Teachers Association (HaSTA)

The mission of the Hawaii Science Teachers Association is to disseminate information and facilitate communication about issues of science learning and teaching relevant to its members, to provide professional development and collaboration opportunities for science educators in Hawai‘i and, to partner with other science education and science organizations to promote science and science education.

Hawai'i Council for History Education

History Education Hawaii, Inc., is the officially recognized “Hawaii Council” of the National Council for History Education (NCHE).  The History Education Hawaii, Inc., (HEH) -formerly the History Education Council of Hawaii founded in 2006 - is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit corporation serving the history learning community of the state of Hawaii.

HASL is a state-wide organization composed primarily of librarians from public schools, private schools, academic libraries, and special libraries.

Higher Education

Association for Educational Communications and Technology Hawaii (AECT HI)

Chapter affiliate with the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT).  The purpose is to provide professional development activities, leadership opportunities and social interaction for our members.  The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) is a professional association of thousands of educators and others whose activities are directed toward improving instruction through technology. AECT members may be found in colleges and universities; in the Armed Forces and industry; in museums, libraries, and hospitals; in the many places where educational change is underway. AECT members carry out a wide range of responsibilities in the study, planning, application, and production of communications media for instruction.
